I tutor AP English Literature online for students across Hong Kong and Singapore. I enjoy close reading, from Shakespeare and Keats to contemporary US fiction, and spend time planning essays paragraph by paragraph. Many of my students send drafts on Google Docs, and we refine introductions, thesis statements and commentary until they feel exam ready.

Hi, I’m Nicole, a literature tutor living in Tseung Kwan O and working mostly with Grade 11–12 students taking AP Lit. I love teaching poetry and drama, especially unseen passages, and we do a lot of practice planning under strict time limits. I also help students balance AP essays with school coursework, so we agree on manageable weekly reading and writing targets together.

I’m an English Literature tutor, and most of my students come from AP or IB streams in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. We work on prose and poetry analysis, thematic threads and building more precise commentary, then apply that to exam-style questions. I often ask students to pick short passages from their own reading so we can practise turning personal responses into clear, exam-focused paragraphs.
