Based in North Point, I’ve taught AP Physics 1 and 2 to Hong Kong students for 11 years, mainly from ESF and HKIS. I like breaking multi-step problems into smaller chunks, then running timed sets with released FRQs on mechanics, circuits and waves. Most lessons are online in the evenings, and I keep a shared folder of worked solutions and score estimates for each unit.

I’m a PhD candidate in condensed matter physics at HKU and have been tutoring AP Physics for 7 years. My students are mainly from US-curriculum schools in Hong Kong who want to lift their scores from 3 to 4 or 5. We spend time on experimental design, graph questions and tricky algebra, and I’m comfortable running late-night Zoom sessions near exam season.

I’m a physics and maths tutor in Sha Tin, supporting AP Physics 1 students alongside DSE and IGCSE work. Many of my lessons are quick review sessions after school, where we tidy up units on kinematics, torque, momentum and basic circuits before quizzes. I like using an online whiteboard with step-by-step annotations so students can replay the logic when they revise later in the week.
